 Previous Track: Young, Dumb, Stupid

Unlike the previous day, Cassie was up bright and early. She felt refreshed and ready for what the day had in store for her. She suddenly remembered that she hadn't replied to her landlord so she quickly let him know everything was okay.

After a quick snack, Cassie decided she was going to get outdoors and go for a short run around the neighborhood. In a way, it was another way that she could familiarise herself with the area again. It was lovely weather already so she may as well make the most of it while she could.

Although it had been a while since Cassie last ran, it was nice to dust off her running shoes and get out and about. She familiarised herself more with Hopewell Hills but was now ready for a quick lunch before cracking on with the rest of her jobs for the day.

Next up, unpacking. As much as Cassie knew it needed to be done, she also really didn't want to do it. Partly because she wasn't in the mood to do so but also because she would much rather be outside enjoying the lovely weather.

Cassie made a start with unpacking and as she re-organized the last of her things, she found her painting equipment. It wasn't in the best condition and some of the paint had spilled in the box but it got her thinking. Maybe if she could pick up an easel from somewhere, even if it was preowned she could get back into painting. Maybe even list some on Plopsy to make some money. She knew she was good at painting, but not outstanding. Kind of like, average.

With all of her belongings now unpacked, it was time to sort out the small pile of paperwork that had begun building on the side. Amongst the pile were some more of the letters from her parents. These were going to be placed with the others that were already set aside. She still had mixed feelings as to when or if she would ever open them.

As the sorting out of the pile continued Cassie also came across some leaflets with information about San Sequoia and also one about University. It was an idea that had crossed her mind but hadn't fully explored. She placed it to one side to make sure she could find it again at a later date and with that it was decided that it was time to stop and make some dinner.

Dinner was pretty uneventful, just a simple grilled cheese sandwich. It was delicious though! Probably the best one she made to date.

Cassie decided to quickly clean the kitchen before spending the rest of the evening relaxing. Just as she had gotten all comfortable and relaxed there was a knock at the door. It was late but not incredibly late. As she approached the door, she wondered who it could be. Maybe her landlord? He did say about popping by soon or maybe it was a lost delivery driver?

Upon approaching the door, there was another series of knocks. Cassie quickly opened the door and it was in fact her landlord but accompanied by someone else.

Who was this other person? Could it be one of her new roommates? As her landlord started talking, she was distracted by this new person due to her curiosity and essentially missed everything her landlord had just said.
