Welcome to a new miniseries that I want to add into my journey of making new SimLit content.

Firstly, I'm excited to announce that I am part of Yellow Llama Co Creator Collective*! This means that I will be talking about products that I genuinely and honestly love here on SleepyCowplant! Additionally, I will be linking products that I talk about using an affiliate link. This means that if you decide to make a purchase from Yellow Llama Co, I may earn some commission on that purchase at no extra cost to yourself!

I've been using the Digital Sim Life Planner by Yellow Llama Co* for a while now and I absolutely love it!

The exact planner I've been working with is from the All-in-One Bundle is the Flex Version. As I'm still planning a lot of my upcoming story ideas and how to reflect that in my gameplay, this has been the perfect fit for me! With the undated sections and the possibility to add additional sections, for my growing my ideas this was the perfect fit!

Now, back to the rest of this diary entry!

Essentially, I wanted to create a diary of how I create my content. Not only that, a place where I can share things that I feel have helped me create my stories (aside from the game itself) but also any helpful resources that I've come across!

Now, there is no wrong or right way on how you create your content. For me personally, I felt this would be a fun way to document my process so that I can look back at how I've progressed over time.

Currently, I have notes everywhere, which I'm using to help me plan this story. I've been using Notion for a lot of my planning and as a way of documenting my random sparks of inspiration at 3am. It's been handy as it is a cross-platform app. Also, handy when you are on the go!

As well as Notion and products from Yellow Llama Co, I've been having great fun exploring Canva as a way to enhance my SimLit and ideas here on this blog!

I still have a long way to go, but I'm progressing well with getting to a place where I can start to share this new SimLit. I hope I can share more updates and behind the scenes updates soon!
